Momma’s Sweater Card

First I gathered my supplies together.

IMG_1534Centered the Blush cardstock in the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder

Punched strip for the lace and centered it over the Quatrefoil.

Cut a 2 inch slice down from the top.

Folded the collar down 1/2 inch from the sides to the end of the slice.

Trimmed the lace to fit on the collar.

Time to add the brads!!

Corner-rounded the collar then tacked it down with glue dots.

Added a “hanky”

I didn’t have pink beads, so I used an alcohol marker to tint them.

Drew a circle as a guide for the beads

Used the circle edge to align the beads.

And, Voila!! we’re done!

Mojo Monday 318

I love Mojo Monday!

My cat, Ninja, is always helping me in my scrap room and with my projects.  Today he tried to change the settings on my computer by walking all over the keys.  Then, he napped on my cutter.  And, always the ham, decided to help me with my photo shoot.

He likes to help me paint, also.  I think he wants to be an artist, too…. as he likes to step on my paint palette and make footprints all over my table and floor.  And, don’t even get me started with my printer and Cricut!  But, I love him dearly and he will always have a place by my side.

Here is my version of today’s Mojo Monday.  I used our Sparkle and Shine Papers.

Last of my Pemberley Paper

I’m so sad, I’ve used the last of my Pemberley paper pack.  The paper is so beautiful, especially this last sheet of florals… it was so hard to cut it up.  So, I just did the most minimal cuts ever so I could get the most impact from the design of the paper.

I also used Bamboo and Indian Corn Blue.  The stitching strip along the middle is from the Pemberley Stickease sticker assortment.  It’s a very plain layout and didn’t really take any time at all except for the punching.
